Notes:
- Youth and Rookies Rock leagues excluded
- Base fee includes entry to club; right to attend meetings, vote and hold office; unlimited sparing per the club's sparing policy; free practice ice; right to represent the club in outside competition; free parking while on site; right to participate in club events; be fifth or sixth on an existing four-person team; right to participate in club leagues upon payment of the appropriate fee.
- Fifth or sixth players on fixed teams (third and fourth players for Mixed Doubles) are not charged league fees and do not need to register in the league. The team skip (owner) must include their additional players in their team registration. Extra players are not permitted on teams without four players, or two players in the case of mixed doubles.
- Installments for outstanding balances may be made by 3 post dated cheques. All fees must be paid by September 15.
- New adult and student members (excluding Rookies Rock participants) must pay a $100 initiation fee.
- Members are advised that some full leagues permit additional players to provide byes, producing spares and offering opportunities for more players. League descriptions have details.
Rookies Rock
Description:
Base (Annual) fee including Sunday evening (see note below) or Monday morning Rookies Rock, or a membership cost of $485 when combined with (one) league as detailed in the ‘Adult’ category when joined for winter/spring draws. The annual fee includes entry to club; unlimited sparing per the club's sparing policy; free parking while on site; right to participate in club events. Anyone wishing to participate in more leagues during the January-April is required to pay either $55 (day) or $65 per league.
Notes:
- New Member Initiation Fees do not apply to Rookies Rock participants.
- Sunday evening Rookies Rock is suspended for the 2025-26 curling season, with resumption planned for the following year.
Social
Description:
This membership category is only available to members who have held an adult
membership at the Granite. Current social members not meeting this requirement are exempt. It allows participation in the club's off-ice activities.
Also allows participation in club-wide fun spiels and sparing in up to 3 games per season in regular leagues. Booking practice ice is not permitted.
Student
Description:
Base membership fee + League fee(s) as detailed in the ‘Adult’ category, maximum
membership cost of $455.
Proof of full-time post-secondary school enrollment required. Payment of $100 Adult initiation fee required.
Youth
Description:
Little Rock, Bantam or Junior
Note: New Member Initiation Fees do not apply to Youth; Booking practice ice is not permitted and any exceptions require Board approval.
