15 MINUTE RULE
This rule, whereby no new end may be started unless there is 15 minutes left on the clock, will remain in effect as in past seasons.
For example, if a draw is scheduled for a 7:00 start, no end may begin unless the first rock of the end crosses the near T-line before the clock in the ice area shows 6:45
We have added one exception – Teams competing in the 9 pm draw ONLY may play out their game providing ALL players are in agreement to do so PRIOR to starting the game.
(It is understood that all game times are based on the clock regardless of when ice preparation is completed. If the games starts late for any reason you are still restricted to the scheduled draw time.)
