PURPOSE
The Granite Club has a limited number of lockers available for members of the Club. Currently, the practice has been to allow a member to retain his or her locker from year to year regardless of their membership status.
It is the position of the Granite Board of Directors that lockers be made available, where possible, to adult curlers and student curlers who have paid the Base Rate curling fee.
GOALS
1. Lockers will be made available only to fully paid Base Rate adult and student curlers.
2. A member who currently has an assigned locker retains the right to the said locker as long as the Base Rate and the locker fees are paid in full by the registration deadline of the curling year.
3. A member who has an assigned locker and transitions to a social membership for the curling year, due to health issues or other commitments will be given priority for an assigned locker (if available) on their return to full status curler (Base Rate fully paid). This accommodation is valid for one year.
4. Members who do not have an assigned locker should not pay the locker fee at registration. They must contact the club manager to add his or her name to the waiting list for lockers.
MONITORING & REVIEW PROCESS
Under the direction of the Club Manager, a physical audit of the lockers will be conducted by the end of October of each curling year. All lockers that have not been assigned will be identified and will be offered to adult and student members on the waiting list.
This Locker Rental policy shall take effect immediately.
